The idea for The Upper Cumerland Mashers first began when the local home brewers got together to help support the much-anticipated Rails with Trails project in Cookeville. The event was to choose an "Ale for the Trail" which was to be voted upon by those in the community that attend the event and sample the various homebrews donated by home brewers of the area. We frequently get together to share our knowledge and experiences of brewing and to share our appreciation of beer, meads and other homebrewed drinks. We meet at various times and at various different locations usually in the Cookeville Tennessee area. Our membership is free and available for those who have joined our forum and attended at least one club function. Once you have completed these two items you are automatically a member. The UCMashers meet every quarter on the last Saturday of the second month. We usually meet in Cookeville, TN at Thomas Andrews on Broad Street at 5PM until whenever you decide to leave. Always check the calendar for the most up to date information as dates, times and locations do change. Please feel free to join us at our monthly meetings or at any of our
calendar events located within our forum. Hope to see you there! |
